They didn’t lie when they said “your body changes after a baby.” It took me some time to fully love my postpartum body after having my son Ahmad. My hips widen and my breast expanded twice its original size and I develop a little fupa too. My clothes weren’t fitting how they use too and I had to throw away so many shoes because my feet grew 1/2 an inch!
So yeah we can definitely say that I didn’t exactly “bounce back” after a baby. I gained 70lbs during my pregnancy’s and only lost 30lbs of that weight by breastfeeding alone. My metabolism rate is medium to slow and it likes to store a lot of fat. After a year of learning my body, I had to come to terms that the only true way to actually get rid of the baby weight for my body type is to work out.
